Kesari Recipe: A Sweet Delight

Ingredients:

* 1 cup rava (semolina) * 1/2 cup sugar * 1/4 cup ghee * 1/4 cup water * 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder * 1/8 teaspoon saffron strands * 2 tablespoons chopped cashews

Instructions:

1. Dry roast the rava in a pan over medium heat until it turns light brown. 2. Add the sugar, ghee, and water to the pan and stir well. 3. Cook over low heat until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan. 4. Add the cardamom powder, saffron strands, and cashews and stir well. 5. Remove from heat and serve hot.

Tips:

* You can add a pinch of salt to the batter for a more balanced flavor. * You can also add a few drops of orange or lemon juice to the batter for a citrusy flavor. * Be sure to stir the batter constantly to prevent it from burning. * Serve the kesari with a dollop of yogurt or a scoop of ice cream.
